The Community Tourism Foundations® program continues to assist BC communities in establishing effective tourism planning and implementation.
We are pleased to announce that the following 17 BC communities have joined the Community Tourism Foundations® program for the 2007/08 intake:

Through this program, communities can address a variety of development issues including creating elements of a destination marketing organization, assisting tourism operators with product development, conducting visitor research to determine trends, tracking local industry performance and creating and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Community Tourism Foundations®, encourages adoption of best practices and offers comprehensive research, education and marketing programs for communities to utilize.
