Tourism British Columbia participated in the London and Birmingham ski shows for the first time this year.  Visitors to the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show at London’s Olympia from October 24th to 28th and the Ski & Board Show at Birmingham’s NEC from November 2nd to 4th had access to expert advice on the province’s wealth of renowned ski resorts and winter experiences.

Representatives were on hand from many of the British Columbia’s key resorts, including Big White Ski Resort, Silver Star, Sun Peaks Resort, Panorama Mountain Village, Whistler Blackcomb, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Red Mountain Resort.

Building on the province’s reputation for some of the best powder conditions in the world, visitors to this year’s shows enjoyed speaking directly with resort representatives on everything BC has to offer in winter, from family friendly resorts and award winning ski schools, to extreme powder experiences.

The shows also offered a chance for visitors to learn about British Columbia’s role as Host Province of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
