Yavhel Velazquez : New Manager of SuperHost® Programs

Yavhel brings experience from his six years at the CTHRC (Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council) in Ottawa.  His former role was Manager of Product Development. Yavhel’s formal studies include a degree in Leisure Studies & Public Administration at the University of Ottawa.  He has already started in his role and welcomes any queries about SuperHost customer service training. 

Leona Zheng Joins Tourism BC as Market Development Sales Manager, Asia

Leona brings a unique set of skills to the Tourism BC marketing team.  She has 9 years experience with TPI Travel, one of Canada's leading receptive tour operators.  She is very familiar with BC products and well respected by our suppliers.  She has a master's degree in education from Tottori University in Japan and a bachelor's degree in international economy from The University of International Relationships in Beijing.  Leona is fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese, and can also speak Cantonese. 

Stephanie Nichols Joins Tourism BC as Marketing Sales Manager, North America

Stephanie is the latest member of the North America Trade Sales team.  In addition to Stephanie's educational training at Cap College and BCIT in Business Administration and the Tourism Marketing Management programs, Stephanie brings seven years of experience working with the travel trade in Europe and North America for Tourism Vancouver and most recently with Tourism Whistler.
