Held on February 21st at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, the BC Tourism Awards recognized innovation and excellence in the province’s tourism industry.


 

New Tourism BC Board Members Appointed
Minister of Tourism, Sport and the Arts Stan Hagen announced three new members have been appointed to Tourism British Columbia’s Board of Directors.



Discover BC! 2008
Hosted by Tourism BC, the Discover BC! event is an annual presentation of new regional tourism products and mini-marketplace catering specifically towards Canadian-based Inbound Tour Operators for Asia.



BC Escapes Media Launch
Over 100 guests attended a March 6th gathering of Vancouver travel media during Tourism British Columbia’s 2008 BC Escapes Launch at the Westin Bayshore.
